Specialist Help
Schools work closely with other services to identify and support children and young people with emotional, behavioural, health or other difficulties as early as possible. There are a range of specialist health and social care services that children, young people and adults need to access at different times in their lives which support both their wellbeing and their ability to learn.
Examples of specialist services are: speech and language therapy; child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS); family support services; intensive behaviour support; support from counsellors; and (for young people) sexual health services. If you need to know more about these services please contact your school.
The Ely, Littleport and Witchford Locality Team provide an integrated support service for children, young people and their families in the Locality. The team works in close partnership with all the schools, Child and Family Health colleagues, and East Cambridgeshire District Council. You can contact the Locality Team on 01353 612 861 or email.
